Judging Panel Announced

The judging panel has been announced for the Student Start-up Entrepreneurship Event. Five industry leaders will decide which student-led projects have the DNA to become the UK’s next market leaders.

The Official Judging Panel

• Simon Squibb (Entrepreneur & Investor): A serial founder and global influencer. Simon brings a wealth of experience in brand building and a massive platform to champion the next generation of founders.

• Rachel Sestini (Canopy Capital & SEIS Fund): A veteran in early-stage investment. Rachel’s expertise in SEIS funding ensures that the startups selected are not just innovative, but built on a foundation that is "investor-ready."

• Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (1000 Black Voices & Ada Ventures Scout): A leader in inclusive innovation. Dr. Shaw’s role as a scout for Ada Ventures and founder of 1000 Black Voices brings a critical eye for talent, equity, and scalable social impact.

• Liam Jeffery (Founder & CEO, StudentVenture): A driving force behind the accelerator. Actively building in today’s market, he brings a current, first-hand perspective on what it takes to launch and scale a startup.

• Anthony Finkelstein (President, City St George’s): Representing the intersection of elite education and professional disruption. Anthony provides the strategic perspective needed to evaluate how academic innovation translates into industry-changing business.

A New Standard for Student Founders

In collaboration with partners UNiDAYS and Canopy Community. The ten standout finalists who reach the "engine room" at Revolut HQ will face a rigorous evaluation from these judges, simulating the intensity of a high-stakes VC pitch.
